IBPSA Privacy Policy
Information we collect
IBPSA collects account and school information you provide, including your name, email, student ID, school, school year, major, age, and LINE ID. We also store event and membership registrations, payment and check-in status, tickets, forum posts and comments, friendships, direct messages, notification preferences, and device notification tokens.
Device permissions
Location is requested only during a location-based check-in. Camera access is used by authorized staff to scan event tickets. Photo access is used when an authorized administrator chooses an event banner or staff portrait.
How information is used
Information is used to operate IBPSA student services, events, safety features, and notifications. Data is processed using Supabase and Firebase. IBPSA does not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. Authorized IBPSA administrators can access information needed to operate these services.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while your account is active or when required for legitimate event and financial records. You can permanently delete your account in the app from Profile > Delete account.
Community safety
Users can report forum content and accounts, and block users from forum and messaging interactions. Reports are reviewed by the IBPSA moderation team.
